How are you missing this?
President Obama has told us to disregard the fact he surrounded himself with far-Left neo-Marxist advocates for his entire adult life, that we should look past the fact that he has admitted to embracing and even teaching this brand of radical ideology (and theology). Well, what are we to think when stories like these two keep coming at us from the Obama White House?
First, there is the matter of an unprecedented presidential address to public school students that El Presidente Obama will be giving on September 8th. If this sounds eerily familiar to the type of propaganda Hugo Chavez and the leaders of totalitarian states all around the world have used...it's probably because it is. Here is the document the administration has forwarded to all public schools and teachers. Picture a Karl Rove-directed edict such as this going out in 2005.
Second, from the most worthless government agency on the planet, the National Endowment for the Arts, comes this delightful tale of intrigue where we find out that our own tax dollars are being used to fund pro-Obama "art". Click here to read more from the man who blew the whistle on this story.
Communists in this country during the Cold War went after our schools, organized labor, and our entertainment industry to try and indoctrinate a new generation of comrades. No one is calling Barack Obama a communist. His tactics, and those of the people who surround him and helped him get elected...well, now that is up to you to decide. Whatever label you prefer, the actions of this administration and its supporters are most definitely "fishy", no?

This nationwide school “address” is really, really weird. It gives me the heebie-jeebies. It seems so not American. And I do not mean that in the unpatriotic sense — just in the completely foreign to our national character sense. It is so odd to have America under the leadership of someone so un-American — again, not saying in any way that he is not a citizen; simply, he does not seem to “get” America in some very fundamental ways. There is a disconnect there that is, frankly, eerie. It is like being in a misty netherworld of sorts — maybe Plato’s cave. I can see the shadows of America, but the realness and essence is missing. Except when I visit blogs and websites like yours — so thank you!

First of all, elected goevernment officials should not be considered an authority our children should be required to listen to except in a family environment with their parents. Teachers also should not be sharing their political views with their students. Children are not servants of the state and do not pledge allegiance to the president. If the president wants to address FAMILIES to stress the importance of education, he should make a commercial telling kids to study hard, don’t do alcohol/drugs and most important: obey your parents!
