A Voice in the Wilderness In Defense of "Mere Conservatism"

No love for “Liberty and Tyranny”

Syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin wrote one of the most important political books in decades earlier this year.  Liberty and Tyranny has remained at the top of the New York Times Best Seller's List for six months, and no major newspaper or mainstream media outlet has even reviewed the book.  Levin's conservative manifesto has now sold more than 1 million copies.

Where's the love?  Imagine Chris Matthews. Anderson Cooper or Keith Olbermann being ignored by the Times or the Washington Post if they wrote a book that sold a million copies.  And these publications wonder why their numbers are dwindling...

Here's Rush (more than 22 million weekly listeners) discussing the book with Levin:

Do yourself a favor and buy Levin's book.  I PROMISE it's worth your time and dollars.

What is “Mere Conservatism”?

The basic ideas, ideals, and values that generally define and characterize the central tenets of what today might be termed "modern conservative thought."

We believe that a proper understanding of history, economics, and theology leads to certain conclusions. Many of these are the same conclusions our Founding Fathers arrived at in constructing a "more perfect union."

All ideas and opinions are welcome; not all are correct.
