A Voice in the Wilderness In Defense of "Mere Conservatism"

There’s no way Savage is happy about this one…

Talk show host Dr. Michael Savage was recently invited to speak at the Cambridge Union in England after being banned from Great Britain last spring.  Now the CU has informed Dr. Savage that he is no longer welcome to speak to their students.  The whole situation is ridiculous, regardless of what you might think of the controversial Savage.  All I know is the big guy cannot be happy with the British people right now.

  1. While it is surprising that Mike doesn’t know who Sir Charles is, Mike is right. Over 30% of our prison population is comprised of illegal aliens. That 70% is our own citizenry is moot to the argument.

Should not 100% of our prisoners be our own? The reasons people commit crimes are varied, but when 30% of them are people who shouldn’t even be in our country, that certainly says something about our country’s ability to keep criminal foreign nationals out.

What is “Mere Conservatism”?

The basic ideas, ideals, and values that generally define and characterize the central tenets of what today might be termed "modern conservative thought."

We believe that a proper understanding of history, economics, and theology leads to certain conclusions. Many of these are the same conclusions our Founding Fathers arrived at in constructing a "more perfect union."

All ideas and opinions are welcome; not all are correct.
