Over 30% of our prison population is comprised of illegal aliens. That 70% is our own citizenry is moot to the argument. Should not 100% of our prisoners be our own? The reasons people commit crimes are varied, but when 30% of them are people who shouldn't even be in our country, that certainly says something about our country's ability to keep criminal foreign nationals out.
