It should be noted as well, that 21 million Orthodox Christians were killed in just the Soviet gulags in just the years leading up to and immediately preceding WWII. This was Christianity’s holocaust, except a longer, more terrible one that is still lasting and indeed, will always last.

How can any person call himself a “communist” today and be proud of it? Look at the history of communism! It is saturated with the blood of millions of innocent people, it is opposed to creativity and freedom, it suppresses religion and faith, it thrives on ultimate control, and it has NEVER worked.

Nazism, communism, and socialism have never yielded anything beneficial to humanity except for the lessons they have taught us. History is so important because it gives us answers now, in this nation. Certain things do not work, are not moral, and are not effective; the mistakes of the past can show us these truths.

We are so eager to be tolerant of everyone in this day and age, but I will never tell a communist that he or she has good ideas, beautiful beliefs, or illustrious forefathers. I will always listen, but I will also always argue. Any worldview based on total control and the suppression of freedom is absolutely opposed to what our American forefathers believed, what the Constitution sets forth, and what our nation has as her bedrock.

Communism in any form is always able to evolve, and by its very nature, will always desire to evolve. Communist beliefs need to be exterminated by correct views on government, economics, and religion.
