Prager: The Left Destroys, Rarely Creates or Preserves
Syndicated columnist and radio talk show host Dennis Prager opens his latest article with this provocative statement:
Watching the left attempting to undo the greatness of American medicine and dismantle the unprecedentedly powerful American economic engine built almost entirely on non-governmental entrepreneurial effort, I realize once again that the left is far better at destroying than building.
Prager and many of us on the Right believe that the progressive-liberals currently running things in Washington D.C. are not evil people, just fundamentally wrong in their assumptions about everything from the appropriate size of government to the best ways of reforming health care.
Dennis uses the specific example of the ACLU's rabid attacks on the Boy Scouts of America to highlight his larger point:
It is entirely accurate to state that the left wishes to destroy the Boy Scouts as that organization now exists. No matter how much good the Boy Scouts have done and continue to do for millions of boys, for the left, all this good amounts to nothing.
For the left in this instance, as in most instances, the attitude is: Destroy the imperfect in order to build the perfect.
There is no left-wing Boy Scouts. The left knows best how to crush the non-left Boy Scouts, but it has never made a boys organization of its own.
We can make this world better, but never perfect. Free market, republican democracy is the worst system on earth...except for every other. We would do well to recognize and embrace this.

Unlike writers, authors and commentators I have no compunction about calling evil, for what it is, evil. The scripture says that you shall know the tree by the fruit it produces. The fruit that Obama and his administration bear is evil, thus they are evil. Yes, they are fundamentally wrong in their assumptions, for their assumptions destroy and do not create good things.
I believe that Obama is unamerican in his thought. He spent his formative years in different lands and learned not what the United States stood for, but only the evil people attribute to this nation. Obama does not care for the United States like most citizens do, but sees only an “evil empire” bent on dominating the rest of the world. Thus, he seeks to remake the United States in the image of other nations of the world and to bring it down rather than to build. He is evil, because the product of his policies is evil.
