If you're in uncomfortable position and have no money to go out from that point, you will need to take the loans. Because it will help you for sure. I take college loan every time I need and feel myself OK just because of it.

I did not mean to say that the emotional trauma soldiers do in fact suffer is the only part of the movie, or that this is even a bad thing to show...my point is simply that the Academy is comprised of liberals and Leftists (not meant as a political jab in this case, just a statement of fact) and they tend to favor movies that have themes that agree with their worldview. To the Left, war is basically all bad and soldiers get roped in to serving and then are emotionally scarred and no one cares about them or understands them when they get home. That is the template they use. I said I liked Hurt Locker, which is true, but I think it will win in part because it does show the down-side of being a soldier (even if that wasn't the only point of the film).

I have to disagree with your take on The Hurt Locker. I do not think it is about the emotional trauma of soldiers. I think it is showing that these men don't just serve as soldiers, they ARE soldiers. The main character could not stay at home because he was a soldier in the depth of his soul. I think the movie is about what the soldiers do DESPITE. Despite the danger, despite the emotional tolls, despite the no-end-in-sight, despite dangerous rules of engagement...they still manage to be the best soldiers in the world. Saving Private Ryan showed Tom Hanks as a stoic man with a shaky hand he keeps hidden. Would you say SPR was glorifying emotional trauma? I would go as far as to say that if this movie gets chosen, Hollywood deserves a pat on the back. Maybe it would push them in the right direction of making more pro-USA war movies.
