A Voice in the Wilderness (On Your iPod)
Roughly four years ago, a friend of mine named Drew suggested that I start collecting, organizing and disseminating my socio-political commentary at a central location. A blog was born.
Two weeks ago, that same friend suggested to me that, after years of absorbing (and loving) sports and political talk radio, I should start a podcast of my own.
Lucky for all of you, I've heeded Drew's advice on both occasions.
Today I (pictured left) am proud to present the inaugural episode of The R.J. Moeller Show Podcast. In what amounts to a hybrid between my three personal favorite shows (The Ricochet.com Podcast, The Dennis Prager Show and The Tony Kornheiser Show), my podcast will be a weekly (or as close to weekly as our schedules allow) dose of hilarity, humanity, and high-fivery (we love giving each other high-fives).
This podcast will be the relatively well-informed opinions of a handful of young, conservative, Christian guys from the Chicago-land area who care about their country, take their faith seriously, but absolutely know how to have a good time and lighten the mood in the midst of such trying and tenuous days (such as our nation faces now).
We're sick of liberals being the only ones who are allowed to be satirical and witty. We're painfully aware of how reliant upon the wisdom of greater minds than ours we are. We hope you enjoy the show.
Eventually we will have the podcast up on iTunes, but for now you will still be able to listen to the show on your computer directly from the application below (or can download it as an MP3 file and manually drag it over on to your iTunes that way).
If you like what you hear, please forward a link to the podcast to a friend. If you don't like what you hear, let us know why.
Happy listening!
