I do not get the assertion that if someone voted for Obama, they dislike our troops. I find it disrespectful and insulting.

SKW-
Thanks for your thoughts, and I mean this with all due respect, but I’m not sure you were listening closely enough if that’s what you came away with. I specified multiple times that I wasn’t talking about all liberals and certainly not all Democrats. I’m saying that the far-Left, faculty of Berkley-Harvard crowd that has attacked our troops since Vietnam and done everything they can to undermine the military and its supporters must feel a little awkward around inspiring displays of patriotism or thanks directed to our troops. That’s all. No indictment of all Obama voters. Just a reality of a huge, key demographic that has a lot of sway and control in the country right now and certainly does among Democrats.
But honestly…thanks for listening. Keep doing so and keep posting your comments.

Interesting listening to the other side for a little while. I agree with you regarding the government not wanting the price of oil to be lower but I don’t understand being against any green initiatives. Your boy Carolla said it best when he claimed that there is no downside to pushing these green initiatives. You may not believe in climate change but I don’t think that destroying some of the most beautiful land in the US is the right way to go about lowering gas prices and our ‘dependence on foreign oil’. Anyway, glad that you keep an open mind and I agree that we should listen to good ideas no matter where they come from.
