Episode 31: Adam Carolla and Jedediah Bila
I'm a big Conan O'Brien fan. Always have been. Every single night of his nearly 20-year career on television, Conan tells the audience, "We've got a great show for you, folks." Does he always mean it? Not a chance. But some nights, probably many nights, he does.
Folks, we've got a great show for you this week. (And I couldn't mean it more.)
The first segment is a lively, entertaining interview with conservative columnist and commentator Jedediah Bila. Ms. Bila is a frequent contributor on Fox News Channel, writes for The Dailler Caller and Human Events, and has a fantastic new book out, Outnumbered:Chronicles of a Manhattan Conservative.
Some (lesser) podcasts might give you one meaty interview to digest and then walk away, but not us. No, not us.
Back, for his second appearance on The R.J. Moeller Show, is none other than the great Adam Carolla. Host of the most downloaded podcast in human history, author of a New York Times' best-seller, and Renaissance man extraordinaire, Adam Carolla is - and I don't care what those saps at Dos Equis may say - the most interesting man in the world.
My conversation with Adam covered an array of topics, including: why you shouldn't care too much about sports, L.A.'s "sociopath" mayor, meatball hoagies, and Andrew Breitbart. Interesting tidbit about this interview: it was conducted face-to-face in Carolla's own podcasting studio in Glendale, CA late last month.
Was I right about this being a great show, or what? (Please tell your friends about us.)

Why the STP playout song for a whole 3 minutes at the end of the JB interview? Love the Pumpkins intro though!

Whoa, you played the whole Pumpkins song too. It seems distracting.

You need to have an “Oh Paulie” segment: For example this week you could cite this brilliant (oh and judgmental and arrogant) point in his colum… “Now, I know how the right will respond to these facts: with misleading statistics and dubious moral claims.” Paul Krugman
