Our featured guest this week on The RJ Moeller Show is Dr. Tim Groseclose!
Dr. Groseclose is the Marvin Hoffenberg Professor of American Politics at UCLA. He has joint appointments in the political science and economics departments. He has held previous faculty appointments at Stanford University, Ohio State University, Harvard University, and Carnegie Mellon University. In 1987 Groseclose received his B.S. degree in Mathematical and Computational Sciences from Stanford University. In 1992 he received his PhD from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (specializing in the School’s Political Economics program). His research has focused on Congress, the media, and mathematical models of politics. He has recently published a book, Left Turn: How Liberal Media Bias Distorts the American Mind.
We chat with Tim about the upcoming elections (and some of the demographic changes that may play a key role in them), the importance that novels play in shaping the culture, and what it is that professors do in the summer when their students are back at home. We've had Professor Groseclose on before to go through the nuts-and-bolts of his book Left Turn, and we recommend you check that episode out if you haven't already!

In the second half of this week's episode, The Gang is here to discuss why Jonah Hill losing weight hurts his comedy, what your smart phone says about your voting habits, and why so many prominent progressive pundits get it so very wrong when it comes to what the Bible has to say about socialism and free enterprise.
