A Voice in the Wilderness In Defense of "Mere Conservatism"

Benghazi Blues: No Ambassadors For Oil!

This breaking news about the Benghazi situation is insane. It's first and foremost infuriating as an America citizen.  Politically speaking, it would sink any other president. Even Clinton.

A few of the pertinent facts:

-CIA requested twice not for help, but to be able to go and help Ambassador Stevens and his team...both times were denied

-Finally the CIA agents on the ground disobeyed orders and went to help (but more than an hour after the attack because of the delay caused by our government telling them to "stand down")

-Special forces were not used, nor our laser-guided missile systems to help those in the compound out immediately

-Again, the administration KNEW OF ALL OF THIS within 24 hours of the attack...yet went out and told America that some YouTube video made in some moron's basement was the cause.

Forget Romney, forget the election, forget your "politics"...this is a big deal. It really is. Bigger than even I, someone who disagrees with the president on almost everything, ever saw coming.

It should be the end of the Obama-Biden experiment.

But hopefully the media will tell us more about the out-of-context remarks regarding rape/abortion that some no-name senator in Indiana made a debate no one saw or cares about!

What is “Mere Conservatism”?

The basic ideas, ideals, and values that generally define and characterize the central tenets of what today might be termed "modern conservative thought."

We believe that a proper understanding of history, economics, and theology leads to certain conclusions. Many of these are the same conclusions our Founding Fathers arrived at in constructing a "more perfect union."

All ideas and opinions are welcome; not all are correct.
